Biography
Prof. Hua Kun Liu is a distinguished Professor, a leader of energy materials research program at Institute for Superconducting and Electronic Materials, University of Wollongong, Australia, and a Fellow of Australian Academy of Technological Science and Engineering. She received the UOW Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Research Excellence Senior Researcher in 2013, and won the most competitive ARC Australian Professorial Fellowships in 1994-1998, 1999-2003, 2003-2005 and 2006-2010. She has supervised 60 PhD to completion and 30 postdoctoral and visiting fellows, and published more than 500 refereed journal papers which attracted 23800 citations with H-index 75. Her PhD graduates are widely spread among prestigious institutions and companies around the world. She has established a national and international network with more than 20 research teams. She has closely worked with more than 10 industry partners, contributing to commericaillisation and industry development.
Research Interest
Her research has been focused on clean energy materials, the materials science and engineering, and electrochemistry and applications.
